It is a powerful team composed of nearly 100 Chinese linguists, Chinese teachers and professional producers from mainland China and abroad. It has been developed over the years. It includes paper textbooks, online courses, cloud classes and online resources, using the latest learning model combining paper textbooks with online courses. Learning Chinese has since become “simple, practical, easy, lively, happy and fun”. The "Young Chinese" course is based on the Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters of China. |
Our History |
In addition to promote Chinese language education, our school also organized a variety of activities, including but not limited to trick-or-treat at Halloween, Santa Claus visit at Christmas, Chinese New Year Spring Festival Party, the picnic in the park. The Chinese New Year party is the favorite event for most families, it get great feed-backs constantly. The school has three tests each semester. After every exam children get chances to exchange their favorite gifts with marks they got based on their performances and behaviors in classroom.
Their major difference between Newtown Yardley Chinese School and other Chinese schools is that the school is like a large community family, children and parents are a family of our school. We understand that personal interests are the biggest motivations for kids to learn Chinese. Without interests, it is very hard, if not impossible, for kids in English speaking environments to master Chinese fluently. So our teachers focus on cultivate the enthusiasms and curiosities of children in our school in learning Chinese and encourage parents' active participate in the journey of their children's Chinese learning process. It has been proved to be effective and efficient. |
