Tue 10:00-11am, Thu 10:00-11:00am TBD |
I was born in the US, and I went to kindergarten and first grade in China, so I am pretty good at writing and reading Chinese. I came back to the US when I was 7, and my parents had my sister and I write 20 Chinese characters almost every day. At home, we always talk in Chinese and we as a family always watch Chinese movies, TV series, and reality shows. I have also been a TA at NYCS. I am always first place at math olympiads at school, and i like to do challenging math problems. I have some ideas about math Olympiads. I have plenty of sets of Math Olympiad problems that I solved before, I want to give them to students in order from easy to hard as homework and classwork in series of five questions each, to let them try to solve it first and I will explain how each problem should be solved in detail, using basic math skills to solve the problems. Including utilizing algebra and geometry. |

Hello, my name is Carah Lo. I will be a freshman in college this upcoming semester. I am an ice skating coach, and last summer, I was a camp counselor where I taught students how to skate along with helping with arts and crafts. I used to teach arts and craft, specializing in friendship bracelets, at Newtown Chinese School for Culture Class. I was the president of Art Club at my high school, where I organized the meetings and planned the art activities. I also posted photos and videos of the activities on social media to showcase the club members’ works. This summer, I am offering to virtually teach students how to create bullet journals. |
